- City or Township: the City of Langley and the Township of Langley are separate municipalities with separate bylaws and utility billing. We confirm which one applies to your home before any suite or permit question.

- Speculation and Vacancy Tax: Langley is inside the BC SVT zone, so every owner files a declaration each year. A home rented to a tenant for at least six months of the year generally qualifies for the rental exemption, and we keep the lease records you need.
